Currently, the global tourism industry is in the stage of sustained recovery and industry restructuring after the epidemic. Tourism investment plays a vital role in promoting tourism economic recovery and sustainable development, creating job opportunities, and promoting economic growth. In recent years, technological innovation and changes in tourism consumption demand are also redefining tourism investment, especially in soft infrastructure investment in the tourism industry (such as new technology applications, digital solutions, etc.). In this session, UNWTO will invite guests from financial institutions, investment funds, technology innovation companies and other institutions to discuss the innovation, changes and trends of tourism investment in the new market context, as well as new opportunities for private equity investment and venture capital.
