(in cooperation with European Travel Commission)
Italy has long been one of the most popular tourist destinations for Asian tourists and the preferred destination for the Chinese outbound tourism market. In 2019, Italy welcomed as many as 3.5 million Chinese tourists. With China's reopening of outbound travel and the full recovery of the world's tourism economy, Italy will continue to welcome travelers from all over Asia. This session will be cooperating with the Italian Ministry of Tourism and will bring together leaders from multiple industries and regions in Italy to jointly introduce Italy as an attractive tourist destination to Asian tourists. Guests will not only highlight world famous tourist destinations such as Rome, Milan, Florence and Venice, but also highlight lesser known destinations that are equally worth visiting, including small towns, resorts in the Alps, and A picturesque and beautiful island. These leaders will work to fully unlock the potential of Italian tourism.
